A good headline or title is one of the major entries to your article. The best way to do this is by deciding what the article is aimed at achieving and giving it a title that fits in. This also covers the parts of writing subheadlines for different sections of the articles. Excellent...Top-notch...? Let me take a look at this and see what's in there. At all costs just ensure the headlines and sub-headlines aren't boring.

Diligently research about the topic

Give quality time to do research on the internet about the topic. The essence of the research is to be exposed to different perspectives about the subject matter because someone may have published the same or related article. Note down the points that resonate with the objective of your article this ensures your article is not restricted to your personal perspectives alone.

For an article to be effective, it has to address a challenge, create awareness, share value or simplify a complex concept. There should be at least one reason for writing the articles because beyond loving to write is the intent to communicate purposeful and valuable content.

Have a strong article layout or format

Organizing the flow of the article's content makes it unique and easy to focus on the goal of the article. It provides a good flow for the reader to engage and understand the content. Evaluate who your target audience is and how best the message can be conveyed to them for ease of understanding. It's very important to speak the language your readers can understand or relate to. When the target audience is likely to be between readers with little or no knowledge of the topic, it's best to use simple words and avoid technical jargon where necessary. If you're writing on an advanced topic it's better to have technical jargon in order not to bog the reader (intermediate - experts) with too many explanations.

Keep it Simple and Precise

Simplify your contents and avoid touching areas that will mislead the reader. Writing articles to flex knowledge muscles can be overwhelming to your readers. Clarity and accuracy can be achieved with simple terms on the topic. Communicating complex terms in simple ways is not just an advantage to the reader but also creates an avenue to grasp the concept better. It's important to keep the article simple, brief and exact because the reader's time is limited.
